The Menu/History “restore previous session” is also grayed out. I saw an answer to this but it involved upgrading to the newest Firefox, which I already have, and/or changing the O/S. I never change O/S until I change computers. It is just too fraught with problems. I have “private browsing”, “accept cookies” and “do not tell sites about my tracking preferences” set. In case it means anything, I did change to “no history” and “no cookies” briefly a couple of days ago but changed back the same day. I recently read that we are safest when we shop/browse on sales sites anonymously in order to avoid their increasingly smarter tracking software. ( I have been noticing a tremendous increase in “targeted ads”.) To do this we are told to log out of all accounts (Yahoo, email etc.) and clear all history and cookies. So another question I have is whether this is really necessary with my current security settings? Thank you!
