Thunderbird crash related to language packs

Hi everybody, Thunderbird (the latest version) hangs after entering Preferences, and eventually crashes with error message requesting to send info to developer. Restarting Thunderbird and/or PC didn't help at all. E-mails are working more or less normally (a bit slower). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Pawel

Doesn't help at all. It only makes me install language packs again.

Did you remove language packs or dictionaries? There is a difference.
