Recently removed mywebsearch now my awesome bar does not search for phrases

I went into about:config searched my web and reset the strings associated with mywebsearch, for months this search engine has hijacked my search results. So it worked in helping to remove mywebsearch but now i cant do any searches in my awesome bar, can anyone help or point me in the direction to resolve this issue. I will gladly appreciate any input, thanks.
