  • Outlook website
  • Gmail
  • Somewhere else

Hmm, looks like Yahoo doesn't offer a download/backup/export feature:

So probably using a dedicated email client to create a local archive of your mail would be the best method. This won't necessarily make them easy to use without that program, but would at least provide some additional options.

There are a lot of free email program options, from Windows Mail (already on your computer) to Mozilla Thunderbird (see https://www.thunderbird.net/), and there also are non-free options. Not sure which would work the best for you.
