Firefox has started adding unwanted line breaks when copying from PDFs
For the last month or so, Firefox has added extra line breaks to text I copy from PDFs. Microsoft Edge doesn't to this when I copy from the same PDF. Do I need to reload it? I don't know if this is related but when I click on website, the Firefox rotating circle in the tab just keeps rotating indefinitiely rather than stopping when the site is loaded. Thanks!

Firefox's built-in PDF viewer is not as sophisticated or full-featured as stand-alone programs such as Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. I have no comment on Edge; I haven't ever used it to view a PDF.
As far as Firefox is concerned, you may have better luck opening problem PDFs in your PDF software. Just above the document there's usually a black bar with a download arrow (in a narrow window, it may be on the overflow menu accessible with the >> icon). That should let you launch the PDF in your stand-alone reader.
