Hello,

Whenever I want to visit www.google.com or www.youtube.com, I receive the massage: "Connection is not secure"

"You have asked Firefox to put up with www.youtube.com, a secure connection but we can not confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally websites will show trusted identification when you want to set up, to prove that you are going to the right place a secure connection. The identity of this website can not be confirmed."

This problem just showed up recently, and I haven't changed anything in my FireFox settings. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Kind regards, Gerben

Are there any advanced settings in your security software (BullGuard) that could possibly cause this?

Well This Problem is Not in Your Web Browser....It due to Your Date & Time Setting in Your PC which can't be validated with the Specific Site ( Especially https:// ) .

So Please update Your Date & Time Setting

This problem only occurs with FireFox, when using Internet Explorder and Google Chrome I can visit Google and Youtube. Also the date & time of my PC are configured correctly.

So you get an open http connection instead of a secure https connection if you use use the latter protocol?

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

After clearing the Cache and removing the cookies, I can acces the Youtube homepage again, but that's all. When i try to log into my account I get the same massage again. I can watch video's though. Google is still blocked.

It's solved, Thank you! :-) Bullguard was set to scan google, and blocked it for some reason.
