Extremely slow access to https://verizon.com
Running Firefox 97.0.1 - 64 bit - on Windows 11 with 2022-02 updates, https is on. Just did a refresh of Firefox. No extensions. Using NordVPN, but have same problem with it disconnected: When I go to Verizon.com , Firefox hangs transferring data from assets.adobetm.com . Using Chrome or Edge does not give a hang; virtually immediate access to log in. What can I do to diagnose / fix this, please?

Site loads in like 2 seconds for me. No issues getting the data from the adobetm site. I also tried in a clean profile without any ad blockers and it loaded pretty quick there as well. Perhaps try a clean profile and see what that does. Since you have no extensions, starting Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode probably won't affect anything.
I am on 97.0.1 - 64bit but Windows 10 Pro.
Thanks for your reply, Mark. I didn't encounter the problem in Windows 10, so I suspect Windows 11 is contributing to this problem. The fact that both Chrome and Edge work properly makes me think there may also be an interfacing problem in FF.
I don't use any profile, and I don't use any ad blockers other than what comes from my VPN. Is there anything in the default profile that I need to change in order to reproduce what you did? OBTW, I use Norton 360 for Internet security.
Well, I don't have access to Windows 11 so I can't test anything there. Normally I have uBlock Origin active as an ad blocker. Firefox is always using some profile as that is where it stores all of its settings. Typing about:profiles in the address bar will show you your current profiles. Info on the profile manager: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
I am just using Windows Defender Firewall for my AV stuff so I don't know what impact Norton 360 would have on things. Since both my normal profile with 31 enabled extensions and a clean profile behave the same, if there is some specific setting I wouldn't know what it would be. Using a clean profile would at least let you know that there is some setting in your normal profile causing it. If it also has problems then something outside of Firefox might be the reason.
