On some websites, the ligatures for ff, fi, fl, and others are scrambling with other font rendering behaviors. I can most clearly test this on the mobile version of wikipedia (normal wikipedia doesn't have this problem since it uses a different font), but there are other sites experiencing the same issues. The issues are as follows: # Typing "fl" renders as "ft" instead. # Typing "fi" renders as "ff." # Typing "ffl" attaches an accent to the preceding character. # Typing "ffi" renders as an uncommon "st" ligature. I have attached images showing each of these rendering issues. Note that the titles are not bugged, because they're being rendered in a Sans Serif font. I am only getting this issue on Firefox. Other browsers like librewolf do not have this problem. Still, I tried reinstalling Roboto, and it did not solve the issue. I am running Arch Linux on the X window system.
