Well aren't you clever...

Another update. Another day wasted trying to work out where all the features I used to use have moved to and why they look different. Another day getting used to something that I didn't need changing. Another day were I ignore all the fantastic new features you have added and I don't want.

Whilst I accept progress must be made, please spare a thought for your customers who were happy as it was. Feel free to develop and move on but please please please give an option where the look and feel remains unchanged.

I use firefox because I like it. But if you keep changing it then there is no difference between keeping it as a browser or moving to something new. Either way I still have to go through the significant pain and disruption of unrequested and unwanted change.

You may argue that I can reset it (somehow after reading loads of how tos etc) but I didn't change it in the first place. This is the equivalent of me buying a car and after two years Ford turn up overnight and spray it a different colour and change the engine

Stop dictating to the customer.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Were you able to get Firefox 57 working well enough, or did you need any support?

Thanks for the clarification Mkll. I will send Firefox my feedback

Thanks for your concern and offer of help jscher2000. No not really. I have worked out where the stuff I use now is and sort of put it back where I want where I can (using customise) but quite frankly I am resigned to it as even if I do get it looking like it was before it will only be amatter of time before it is all changed again. I am satisfied if not content with what I have now.
