Firefox can't open any page

Since 2 days firefox cant open pages anymore .It doesnt even try to load them, there is just a half second blink on the small refresh icon in the adressbar and nothing else. the only "pages" it still opens are the firefox internal option pages like "about:support" everything else gets no response i cant even connect to my router. the Problem appeared out of the blue i closed firefox opened it up again after a minute or so and since then it wont work. at the moment im using chrome so there is no problem with my internet connection.

what i tried already: starting firefox in safemode, reinstalling firefox, disabling avira and windows firewall, disabling ipv6 support, using the refresh feature

hi newUsername, please go into the programs section of your system control panel and uninstal nvidia forceware network access manager in case you have that present.
