How do I undo an accidental "Sort by Name" of my Bookmarks, I tried restoring from a previous day but it only lasts a few seconds then resorts?

I accidentally sorted my Bookmarks by name and can't find anyway to undo it. I tried reverting to a previous version and they come up correctly at first and then a few seconds or minutes later they resort themselves by name again.

I tried resorting in the Library window by "Date Added" "A to Z", and it appears mostly correct, but it doesn't fix the Sidebar menu.

The sort choices in the Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) are only for viewing purposes and doesn't sort the bookmarks permanently.

Are you possibly using Syn to sync the bookmarks as a possible cause of the bookmarks not staying unsorted?

Are you using an extension that might be sorting the bookmarks?

If you can't undo the sort what is being viewed, or turn off that view, then it is for all intents and purposes, permanent! Safe Mode does NOT change the issue.

Today there is a slightly different behavior noted in that when I try to restore to a previous Bookmarks backup the bookmarks & folders all come back in the correct order, but then within seconds, and ONLY within the "Bookmarks Menu" and NOT in the "Bookmarks Toolbar" menu, the folders all get sorted to the top of the menu together, separate from the other single bookmarks. Also the "Other Bookmarks" bookmarks all get tacked on to the bottom of the "Bookmarks Menu" bookmarks, emptying the "Other Bookmarks" menu completely.

My Laptop and Desktop are Synced, and everything happening to one is also happening to the other. But, even when one is turned off, if I restore the other to a previous backup, the events mentioned above happen automatically, usually over the course of 6-8 minutes. Over this period you can actually watch the bookmarks resorting line by line as the scroll button climbs the edge of the window.
