How Do I Uninstall This Ridiculous Version 43????
Firefox just now installed what it calls Version 43.0.1.
Now EIGHT of my 12 Add-Ons have now been disabled because they're "incompatible" with this version!!!!! I use these Add-Ons ALL THE TIME! Enough is enough!
How do I uninstall this "Update" and just live with the previous version for the rest of my life??? I am so tired of these constant updates that do nothing but make things worse. What are you trying to prove?

Thanks, Fred! I did what you said, and it worked.
However, I also went into ADVANCED to tell it not to update my Firefox anymore, and I saw that I HAD CHECKED "Warn me if this (Update) will disable any of my Add-Ons." It NEVER WARNED ME! It just went right ahead an updated itself (and deleted most of my Add-Ons). Does anyone know why they have that checkbox if the Update is going to completely ignore it????
Anyway, I'm now apparently back to the previous version, with all future updates prevented. But, although I have my Add-Ons back, this pretty much signifies that I won't be able to use Firefox much longer.
It used to be such a good program until they decided to update it a couple hundred times. What is that all about? Don't they know how frustrating these un-thought-out changes are to their users??? Every time they do it, it screws something else up. <sob>
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.
Thanks again, Fred!
What Extensions are they? if they are being hosted at addons.mozilla.org then chances are the recent versions have been signed.
Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
