Popup dialog never works right in Firefox, dialog is blank (no content) in Firefox....works fine in Brave browser
A required site I need to use for work has a popup dialog box that never works right in Firefox, the popup dialog shows up as a blank box or doesn't popup at all in Firefox. I must print what is supposed to be there in that dialog box. It's been like this for a couple of years now. I've tried everything imaginable and searched high and low for the fix. I have had this particular site set as an exception to popups blocking, and then I also set it to have all popups unblocked. Still doesn't work either way. I have to use the site in Brave instead, and it's the only way I can get what I need done. I used to love Firefox SO much, I used it exclusively. But it has undergone some unpleasant changes recently, such as hiding my open tabs on my iphone. Because of these issues I find myself using other browsers more and more.

I just now got it to work, meaning I got the popup to show the content of the printed form, by disabling protection for the site. I clicked the little man figure in the URL field and then clicked "connection secure" then clicked "disable protection". Is there a way to make this setting stick for every time I use this site? Thanks again.

Hi Jo, is the popup dialog an overlay that appears within the same tab, or a completely separate popup window? Do your colleagues who use this site have the same issue (if they use Firefox)?
Thank you for your reply, jscher2000. It's a completely separate popup window. My colleagues don't use the site the way I do, as it's my job to fill in an online form and then print it. On this particular site, clicking "print" specifically opens another dialog box of the filled-in form to print. In Firefox, the dialog box opens separately, but has no content (is blank).

That sounds like this panel:
Source: Mixed content blocking in Firefox. Test page: https://mixed-script.badssl.com/
But why would your popup have "mixed" content -- some scripts loaded securely over HTTPS and some loaded without encryption/verification via HTTP? I assume the popup doesn't show any sensitive data, or maybe it shows user-supplied content like an email message?
I'm not sure whether there is a good solution for this; unlike many kinds of exceptions and permissions, I don't think there is a place to store a permanent exception.
