When I open FF I get a pop up window with this url on it http://s04.cltrda.com and it has a lot of other characters in the url I want to know how to stop that from coming up

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
