how do I TOTALLY remaove ALL tarces of Babylon beyond doing the obvious...have done all that..thanks...this is day 3 trying to get an answer
have done all of the obvious program, file deletes, trashed and removed all surface files, swept wil malwarebites, deleted AVG....still opens Babylon Search

This forum has several active threads per day on Babylon. It really seems to be getting around. At the risk of pointing you to steps you've already tried, can you check this thread: Every time i open a new tab babylon search opens up! i tried looking for it in add ons but itsnot in there! I want my blank new tab page back! PLEASE HELP!.
After those steps, if traces remain, can you indicate which functions/pages are affected?
Edit: This one might also be useful: Babylon has infected my computer and I cannot get rid of it, despite being uninstalled.
