Plugin check not working

more options

When I go to the "plugin and update" page https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/?utm_source=firefox-browser&utm_medium=firefox-browser&utm_campaign=plugincheck-update, nothing happens. No plugins are shown and all the status indicator does is spin in circles. I am using the most recent updated version 36.0.1 of Firefox. Any help in rectifying the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

please make sure that it is set to "never activate" instead of "ask to activate" though. a number of people reported that this could resolve the issues on the plugin check website...

hi MOUNTAINWILLIAM, can you see if you can resolve the problem when you go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > plugins & set the "java deployment toolkit" to never activate and then reload the plugin check page?

I double checked the java deployment toolkit (10.9.2.5) and it is still blocked / deactivated from when Firefox did so a long time back. I also retried the plugin check page to find the problem there still exists. Thanks for your suggestion.

You are correct, I neglected to mark the toolkit to "never activate", that did the trick! Thanks again for your help!
