I have one computer connected via HDMI cable to my TV which I use almost exclusively to watch programs on NETFLIX or HULU. I realized I didn't need all my bookmarks or websites on my toolbar, so I thought I could simplify by deleting them. When I opened Firefox on my main computer, (different from computer connected to TV) I found that sites I deleted from my toolbar on the computer connected to the TV were also deleted from my main computer.

Is there a way I could separate these two computers so that a change made on one doesn't also get made on the second? Thanks for any help!

Hi JussAskin, I think you have two choices:

(A) Don't sign in to the same Firefox Account on the second computer.

(B) Turn off Sync for bookmarks (or other data that you want to be purely local) -- How do I choose what information to sync on Firefox?

Either way, on the computer where the bookmarks need to be restored, you could check whether you have a bookmark backup available. Note that this restore completely replaces whatever you have now: Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer.

Hi, you have to disconnect this Firefox instance from Firefox Account.
