I have started using Thunderbird and have downloaded two Yahoo accounts which go back years.

There are many folder in each of those accounts.

Now that they are on my hard drive within Thunderbird I would like to take each folder and join together in date order all the emails in that folder in some readable format - preferably .txt but pdf would do. rtf would do. Just compact them into one huge file containing all emails that were in that folder.

Is that possible at all?

The ImportExportTools NG add-on can export all messages in a folder to a single text file, or individual pdf files. TB stores folders in a single mbox file, which can be saved outside the profile, and copied back in if necessary.
