Firefox Crashes all the time
Hello, I have been a while having the same problem (since version 10 approx.) Is that firefox crashes when I open it, in previous versions (up to 12) by setting the program compatibility with win2000 not hung (no idea why it worked that way), with the new version I can not do that so I'll have to go back to v12 ... regarding the crash, I tried everything, uninstall and reinstall (which is cleared of configs) and nothing, I tried to disable plugs and nothing, and the worst is that I do not even give the "crash report", it simply "closes ", there are times when it said that could not be loaded correctly and gives me load in safe mode, how that sometimes works (sometimes just shuts down in safe mode too), and sometimes throws me a windows error saying that the program tried to read an address that does not exist (Directx 9: 000000XX), and sometimes when the "crash report" appears it say something like "direcxt: theadworker" or something, please, I hope someone can give me a solution : S

I have already looked those posts, that is why I posted here because I can't find a solution... My SO, Drivers, AV are all updated... I have the last Firefox version and no report is generated, it just "close"...
Please also check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is okay, you can then Reset Firefox on the old (previous) profile via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information.
yes, I already try that option and uninstall complete (user perefereces to) and install again but not work :S
You can try to check the Windows Event Viewer Application and System branches for Firefox and system related events respectively when the crash occurs. Hopefully a more clear picture will emerge.
I already look that too... nothing appears :S, all other browsers works fine in my PC (IE, chrome, opera), but I allways use Firefox and I don't wana stop use it (although it hangs) :S
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.

finally! now it works! I disabled hardware acceleration and works! but I have the latest version of my Drivers... I have two video cards with two monitors:
ATI 4250 (vr 12.4): http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-4000/ati-radeon-hd-4200/pages/ati-radeon-hd-4200-overview.aspx
ATI 5450 (vr 12.4): http://www.amd.com/la/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-5000/hd-5450-overview/Pages/hd-5450-overview.aspx
and both are updated... also my XP (directx 9.0c [4.09.0000.0904]), about crash report's, i don't have... when I reinstalled I lost all of them, and when firefox crash no report is generated...
