Installed WF 13 then a few days later there was upgrade to 15. Installed 15, then the next day another notice for 15 which I didn't install again. (Sep 31 & Oct 1)

1) WF did not ask if I wanted to create a new profile and see that it apparently is using FF 15 profile -- guess a new one could be added and all could be copied over, but it shud ask for that on the installation!

2) Updated a few addons as was asked during the install. This included Roboform. Later when I uninstalled WF, it took RF with it forcing a re-installation of RF.

3) Search WF help and it takes me to FF forum, not WF forum. And FF forum is virtually useless since queries don't appear to be sorted by subject, date, or --- ? Not about to read 50+ pgs to locate an answer.

4) Used WF uninstall with trepidation since I feared it would also uninstall portions or all of FF, but so far apparently OK, except for Roboform mentioned above.

Will leave WF uninstalled until I read that it is read for prime time.

Waterfox is not officially developed or supported, it is a community build of Firefox that runs as a 64 bit application, instead of 32 bit like normal Firefox. In theory this is supposed to make it faster, this is debatable. However, we don't support Waterfox nor can we help with issues related to it. I would say your best bet is to right now just use Firefox, as you have found out.
