Do I need to keep Chrome and Android System Webview updated even though I no longer use Chrome?? I'm a faithful user of Firefox For Android and I don't have any use for Chrome/ASW but I've never been 100% certain that I could leave chrome behind without updates. I'm in that long slowgoing breakup with Google Products but at the same time I want to be certain I'm not causing any harm or security issues with my devices while doing so. Thank you in advance for your time and help

It's probably best not to. Depending on your specific device, both of these apps probably can't be uninstalled from your device and sometimes can't even be disabled. The reason for this is that other Android apps that open web content within the app often use either Chrome or ASW to load that content.

Being a Google-owned platform, Android is tied in quite tightly with the Chrome webview system.
