Before installing FF26 & the previous version, we did not have a problem with popups nor redirecting to other sites, now we do, how do we fix this?

We have run three different malware and spyware programs trying to find a trojan or some other program which causes the popups and many cases takes control and redirects the browser to other websites from the one we are attempting to open. These programs have not found in trojan or spyware routines.

As indicated this did not arise until FF26 and the preceding version.
