Pages that use the Flash plugin crash on Mac

Some versions of Flash on Mac OS X will cause Firefox to crash on pages using the Flash plugin. Adobe has released an updated version of Flash that should fix this.

  1. Go to Adobe's Flash download page and follow the instructions to download the latest update of Flash Player.
  2. Run the DMG file to mount the disk image.
  3. In the Finder, select the Flash Player disk image, and run Adobe Flash Player.pkg, to run the installer.
  4. Restart Firefox.
