BuddyUp is a free app that lets you get help with your Firefox OS device. Get help or answer questions about Firefox OS directly from your device. You can also receive notifications when someone responds so you'll never miss a conversation.
Ask a question
- Install the free BuddyUp app on your Firefox OS device.
- Open the app and tap .
- Type in your question in the message field at the bottom of the screen.
- Article suggestions: As you type in your question, BuddyUp will suggest support articles that match the words that you type.
- If the suggested articles don't answer your question, tap the button to post your question to the forum.
Tip: To keep track of your questions, receive mobile notifications and answer other users' questions, sign up for a free account.
Answer questions
- Open the BuddyUp app and tap .
- Follow the prompts to sign up for a free account (or sign in if you have an existing account).
- You'll see a list of questions when you log in. Tap New to see questions you haven't answered. Tap on a question and start answering!
- To see questions you're involved in, tap My list.
Narrow down my list of questions
Too many questions? Set your preferences to see questions for a specific language, device or operator:
- Tap the gear icon at the top of the screen.
- On your profile screen, scroll down to My Preferences.
- Select your preferences to narrow down the list of questions that you see.
View or edit my profile
- Tap the gear icon at the top of the screen.
- Your profile screen will display your user name, profile picture and contributions.
- Tap on your display name to edit it.
- Your display name is what's shown to the community and does not affect your login. Continue using your user name when you log in to BuddyUp.
