Hello guys, I had problem with creation folders in "incoming messages" so i decided to reinstall Thunderbird, and all was ok after reinstall. This option was again available for me. So i created about 10-15 folders with filters and all this stuff, the only issue was- Thunderbird didn't allow me to rename one of those folders. I decided to close program and open it one more time, and when i did it- all created folders i find in "deleted" and i'm wondering why such things happening now with one of my accounts? another one works well on the same version. Please tell me what i did wrong and how can i fix it.

If it's an IMAP - account you are dealing with the servers restrictions. When you create a sub-folder to INBOX it will be created as a sub-folder to the servers INBOX. I found that one of my mail-service-provider doesn't allow that. To test you can login using webmail and try to add a subfolder.

In my opinion it's better not to fiddle with INBOX, Trash and Junk. You can create fx MY_INBOX with all the subfolders you like. If you create it inside the account they will be on the server. Or you can have them on your PC under Local Folders.
