Email sending error

I am unable to send emails although I have been receiving them. When trying to send I get a message stating "An error occurence while sending mail: The server sent an incorrect greeting: eastrmimpo210.cox.net 71.102.212.53 rejected - no rDNS

What does this mean and why am I getting this message? I have also been getting a lot of "Mail System Error - Returned Message" from the "Mail Administrator <Postmaster@cox.net>

The outgoing messages from my id have been in French, something I obviously did not do myself. Has my URL or id been hacked?

have you checked your computer of malware? I mean actively checked with something other than your normal anti virus.
