Hello,

I'm considering to move from Chrome to Firefox to fix my passwords issues. I have over 200 passwords and Chrome mess them up many times. I'm trying to use Firefox and It's much better than Chrome but I cannot save passwords from Godaddy website where the 'save password prompt' dosn't show up!

I read online but couldn't find any solution. Can you help me please?

I'm currently using Firefox Developer Edition.

It is possible that that function does not work for Godaddy.

I know it does not work for hostpappa.com

It could be that this is a security thing that is in godaddys html5 or css files.

Chrome saves passwords from Godaddy and I've more then ten passwords saved in the past year.

Isn't there any way to override the security of this website and get the password manager to display the save password prompt?

Try deleting your cache and all cookies from them then try logging in again. Can always use a password manager.

I deleted all cache and cookies but that didn't help!

Hi  !

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

You will need to restart Firefox for this to take effect so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.,) and then perform these steps:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac, Linux).
  2. Select the General panel.
  3. Under Performance, uncheck Use recommended performance settings. Additional settings will be displayed.
    Fx55Performance-disableHWA
  4. Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
  5. Close Firefox completely and then restart Firefox to see if the problem persists.

If the problem is resolved, you should check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in these Knowledge base articles:
