trying to install verizon internet security suite on my laptop and it said I have conflicting software and one of the steps to try to fix it is to check or change in the advance tab under tools to find the encryption tab but can't find it . They want to Use SSL 3.0.

hello, ssl3.0 is insecure and disabled in all modern browsers - if any "SECURITY SUITE" is requiring that you enable this mode (& therefore making yourself vulnerable) it's up to no good and you should find alternatives to that...
