Today when using firefox a survey box appeared. I answered the questions. Another window informed me that I had 'won' the opportunity to have an iphone for £1? I did run my security who found nothing wrong with the PC. Is this a scam and not Firefox? The following is copied from the address bar. https://t. wowgift .pro/ iphone-xs/?a=y&k=1%C2%A3&f=1%C2%A3&x_affiliate_id=39637&x_clickid=Nr95yVJiNFXx9R15ATgipG#lp-pom-image-66

Hello decaemme5,

In addition to the above :

Unfortunately you didnt win anything, as this is a scam (they'll just keep trying .... ).

When Mozilla does a survey it will be by way of :

http://qsurvey.mozilla.com (which is surveygizmo.com )

But no prizes will ever be given or promised ......

Would you please take a moment and report it here :

The company Mozilla that makes the Firefox web browser has never had such random prizes, especially expensive ones in variations of this scam. The fake prizes have been for Samsung S8 or S9, a $1000 gift card from say Amazon or a iPhone X.

Also if Mozilla did have prizes for something then it would likely involve a *.mozilla.org page and not some random weird name site that came up from a malvertising Ad.

This scam is to get personal information from whose who fall for it like name, address, phone#, email and the fake very cheap $1 or $2 dollar shipping is to get the credit card information.
