My problem is similar to [one], not sure it is related, so I'm posing a new question.

My problem happens when I access a certain page and try to find strings within it:

  1. Go to this page: https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/chapter.aspx?id=38124
  2. Look for (CTRL-F) any search string, such as "repeal". Verify that the search is working.
  3. Click on any of the links to sections (e.g., .510).
  4. Go back one page to the original page.
  5. Attempt to find the next search string or any search string. In my case, it does not work.

It does not matter whether I close the search bar and do CTRL-F again.

Ways to get find to work again in that tab:

  1. Click on a link in the menu rather (e.g., Bills) rather than on one of the section links, then go back.
  2. Type and follow a link to another website, then go back.
  3. Close and reopen the tab.

That's about all I know.

The link to the other question didn't work in my OP, so here it is: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1306525
