FF 90 modal dialogs can't be moved or resized
In FF 90.0.2 on Ubuntu Linux 21.04, something changed and all the modal dialogs are now unmovable and unresizable. If you try to move or resize one of these dialogs, the entire FF window is shrunk and locked behind the dialog, making it impossible to see what was in the tab/window.
This happens if you hit Save (ctrl-s) and Open File.
Is there a way to make it like it was before? Sometimes I need to see what was in the window or tab while Saving or Opening. This new mechanism is much less usable than it was before!

Hi,
can you file a bug on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi ? Thanks.
Done. It's Bug 1725235, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1725235
I think it may be specific to your distro. I can still move and resize those dialogs. Firefox 90.0.2 on Linux.
TerryN21, which linux are you running? Do you have any distro-specific add-ons?
The distro is PCLinuxOS. The Mozilla version of Firefox is installed by Synaptic for rpm.
The problem is fixed by using gnome-tweaks. Select the Windows tab on the left. Then turn off Attach Modal Dialogs. Problem solved.
That setting is hard to find. I've been cursing at it for at least a month. It would be nice if the setting could also be found inside of the Mozilla software. At best, it could toggle the settings. At worst, it could display the instructions on how to run gnome-tweaks.
