How do I get Firefox to allow me to set up a Windows homegroup?

I am trying top set up a homegroup for my desktop and laptop am unable to as it is suggested the firefox firewall prevents this. What do I do so firefox will allow this?

Firefox doesn't have a "Firewall", nor does it have anything to do with Windows Homegroup.

I would suggest two things. first, update Firefox to version 11 to make sure you stay secure.
