FireFox locks up the whole computer when I start it.
It not only locks up upon starting but sometimes starts fine and then some random site will cause it too lock up. Today it locked up on PC Doctor. I tried with no plugins loading. Turned on the default appearance. I installed the latest version. This didn't happen before version 35. I would like to install an older version.
Valittu ratkaisu
I think I solved it; I hope. I went to the desk cut web add-ons page. The developer suggested to set the path to "find". So far it worked.

Download Firefox Full Version For All languages And Systems {web link} Save the file. Then;
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
• Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory.
Look for, and rename any Mozilla or Firefox folders by adding .old to them.
After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner. After, run the full installer.
If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done.
Hi nonnox15, this thread started in early March and is coming up on its 6-month lock date in one week.

If you can associate the problems with any particular websites or types of content, that might be a helpful clue.
I am not nonnox 15. But your answer was sent to me. Buddieus. I got 4 emails that were for ninnox 15. In the solved area above, that was the solution to a different problem. The problem for me is solved, but I don't remember how it was solved. I know I tried what was suggested here. But it didn't solve the problem. It happened with IE explorer a couple of times so it may have been some other problem. But it is gone. I now have another problem and will ask a new question.
