I used to use firefox on windows on a few machines. You eventually started to impose Yahoo on me with an upgrade. For several upgrades I went and removed all the references after downloading updates. I ended up downloading one update after which I could not seem to get rid of Yahoo completely. I attempted to get the update from other countries unsuccessfully. I eventually got so infuriated and indignant about what you were doing to me that I completely removed every reference and occurrence of both Firefox and Yahoo from my machines including all passwords to sites I had saved in firefox and obviously all bookmarks. This was a small price to pay to eradicate the YAHOO references although it was a large price to pay. I used IE for a while but we know how bad its performance is, although it does not do the bad things to my machine Firefox and flash player do. I eventually began to use Firefox again. I saw your messages asking for money and thought 'No way as long as they sold their souls to the Devil(yahoo)'. Today I see the Firefox browser is pointing me to Yahoo for search again. For a long time before deleting firefox and everything related to it, I had stopped doing updates but somehow one sneaked through it seems. It seems the same has happened again. I guess my only alternative is to delete your products and never come back. Don't get all moral on us about developing open software when you are using it as a marketing tool for one of the really sleazy players in the market. The price to pay for using your software is just too high. Is there a way to use Firefox without getting the Yahoo BS imposed on me? I am in Canada.
