Help is needed

In my Lennovo PC Win 11 made an uppdate. After it Firefox will not work. Insted when I push Firefox buttom PING is opened. Before today (13.02.2025) Firefox has been functioning OK in this PC. Touching Firefox buttom with my mouse it shows text "Firefox". It seems that MS has just replaced Firefox with Ping but not changed the buttom. I want to use Firefox not Ping. Any help is very wellcome. PekkaRu

Millä sivulla olevat esikatselut saa toimimaan? Nyt joudun ladata jokaisen pdf tiedoston kun ennen se aukesi sivun sisälle itsestään

Kirjautuminen onnistuu "kiertoteitse" eli Microsoft tilini kautta!

Firefox keeps informing me that it has an update ready to be downloaded and every time I press the download button, it opens a new window which says: failure to establish secure connection and error code: SSL_ERROR_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT

What do I do?

i dont find settings to manage "silent print" and printpage setting what you can see on attachment. also certificate settings. Is there any setting to that? i try to find those on firefoxadm file without any luck.

Hi, I used to be able to add a small, separate search bar to the toolbar in older versions of Firefox. However, I can't seem to find that option in the latest version. Is there still a way to add a standalone search bar to the toolbar, or has that feature been removed? If it's still possible, could you guide me through the steps to add it?

Hi! I'm running latest Firefox on ubuntu 22. Downloading stopped working all the sudden. I download and print pdfs as part of my daily work, and first I thought this was an printing issue, but it turns out to be download related. I deleted snap version of fw and installed ppa version (since snap had all-ready problems with file destinations), refreshed fw, reset-ed download folders etc from about.config, started fw in safe mode, added pages I usually use to the list with no secure browsing and nothing helped. When I click some file to download, it hangs up in download dialog, and I'm also unable ti clear the list, or cancel download. When I reboot fw, and it reloads previous session, downloaded file appears, and I'm able to print this file, but no other after that one.

What a Fuck. My Win 10 collaps. I lost all open Firefox pagges in memory. But Googke Chrone can have all pages in memory and I can reopn those page. Firefox lost all my earlier opened pages. WHY ??? Even restore last sessioin was not possible... WHY WHY--- Fuck you idiots... Google Chrome can remember last sessions, but Firefox cannot. Ofcouse Firefox remember all last opened pages, but NOT last Sessions. FYCK YOU... Stupid Idiots...

I have Firefox version 115.9.1-1.el9_3.x86_64 from RHEL 9 appstream repository. RHEL version is 9.3 (Plow).

I have found that when I visit certain sites or pages the tab always crashes. Other sites work without problem. Issue happens without any addons, after cleaning history&cache, with new profiles and even after reinstall of Firefox.

Examples of sites where the issue happens: - https://crypto.stackexchange.com/ (All addresses on the domain I have tried, while other Stack Exchange sites work fine.) - https://www.xxl.fi/ (All pages from frontpage dropdown menus crash but links from the frontpage to product pages work. Other language version of the same shop does not crash: https://www.xxl.se/)

No errors are visible on the console when tab crashes.

I have tried changing settings such as disabling hardware acceleration but it did not make any difference.

How could I fix this problem or at least find more information about cause of it?

Hei, yritin ajastaa lähtevän sähköpostin, mutta muutinkin mieleni ja lähetin viestin heti. Ajatettu viesti jäi kuitenkin näemmä kummittelemaan lähteviin viesteihin. Nyt joka kerta kun avaan Thunderbirdin, ohjelma kysyy: "Lähetetäänkö lähtevien viestien kansiossa olevat viestit?" Joudun vastaamaan siihen aina "ei" ennen kuin pääsen sähköpostiini. En löydä mistään "lähtevien viestien kansiota". Mistä saan "jonottavan" lähtevän viestin poistettua?
