I'm currently looking for users who would be will to work with me and a Norton Engineer to help find a solution to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=783369. Currently Norton knows about the bug but doesn't have a solid STR. We are hoping that working with some users directly will speed up the process. This may involve sharing of some private information so it's nothing we want to do on the forums however.

As many of you are aware, we have seen some problems in how our toolbar and Firefox play together since FF 18 came out in early January. We've worked with some helpful forum customers and the Mozilla engineers to identify the root cause, and are working to get a patch out for our 2012 and 2013 products. We expect to make these patches available for the week of Feb 1st. We'll keep you posted on the progress, and will announce when the patch is available. Thanks for your patience and for your help.

I encountered the same bug on Chrome which is what caused me to return to my Firefox roots. Not a decision I will regret. However, I'm running Trend Micro now so I guess I can't help you with that.
