Running Win8-64 Enterprise and Firefox 18. Some sites request installation of the Adobe Flash plug-in. If you agree and install Flash Player, Firefox becomes unresponsive and hangs. I have tried the suggested 10.x install of Flash Player, but that does not help either. The only way to get Firefox back into operation is to kill the Firefox process tree, uninstall the Flash Player pug-in and restart Firefox. I have reset Firefox, but that does not help either, I have tried disabling all installed plug-ins, but that again does not help.
Nothing seems to be able to install Flash Player without hanging Firefox. IE has no such problems. Here is some debug info:

If Flash Player is installed, I can't get this debug info, because Firefox hangs.
Looking forward to suggestions to resolve this.
