After FF 44 32-bit update, it wouldn't connect to internet unless in safe mode, and then it crashes at exit. An uninstall and clean reinstall didn't fix it.

- "Firefox stopped working" window pops up upon exit (normal and safe mode). - Clean reinstall included deleting the profiles, getting rid of it's %appdata% folder, and running ccleaner for invalid registry entries. - Went into Windows Firewall and deleted Firefox rule then added it back.

No success. This is a win7 install.

Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective.

Here's the one crash report that's listed since the clean install.

Note: It's now a clean install...there are no add-ons, no extensions, no third party stuff.

Starting in safe mode by holding down shift key resulted in no connection.

Going into the hamburger menu and toggling "restart with addons enabled" caused the "Firefox has stopped working" crash event window to pop up and a new instance of firefox to open. Also, closing FF in safe mode also causes the crash event pop up to appear. Since the crash reporter doesn't seem to be reporting, here's the details via the pop up window: ................................................................................. Problem signature:

Oddly, the new instance of Firefox with add-ons re-enabled allows me to surf. So, this is now the opposite behavior of yesterday. If I keep toggling the safe mode on/off, sometimes it'll give connection via safe mode and sometimes via normal mode.

Add-ons enabled: it's still a pristine install w/o any addons or extensions installed.

Started PC in safe mode+networking.

Started FF and a crash reporting tool came up. Here's the report id: bp-66898aec-d5ba-416c-b4cb-2b6c12160201

Had internet connection in both FF safe mode and normal mode. Toggled back and forth about a dozen times. Going from safe mode to normal mode closed/opened FF fine. Going from normal to safe mode, safe mode opened and normal mode fails to close in an orderly manner - eventually the crash event pop up window appears with these details: Problem signature:

Restarted with full win7 boot. Initial FF load didn't connect. Toggled to safe mode and could connect. Toggled back to normal mode and could connect. Toggled back and forth a handful of times and could connect each time. Normal mode still crashing on exit.

I reverted to 43.0.4. Looking good, so far.

Hopefully they will have a fix for all the 44 problems. v43 had so many problems, I didn't update until 43.0.3 came out.
