Why won't Firefox create my account?

I filled everything out correctly and I was prompted to enter my age. I entered '23' and I was told:

"Cannot create account

You must meet certain age requirements to create a Firefox Account.

Learn more"

To which I was prompted to visit a link that said I had to be at least 13 years old to create an account. No, I did not misspell my age, I verified everything before I hit Create. BUT even if I did accidentally type '13' instead of '23', that should still be allowed by law! Now I cannot use my primary email to create an account and I am very confused, please help.

I don't think that Firefox remembers this choice over a session, so close and restart Firefox and give it another try.

Can you create the Firefox account via this web page? In case of issues try to log in to the Firefox Account via this website.
