how do I get windows essential to turn on automatically whein start up ... when there is NO security problem

I am running vista home premium Just recently had anew hard drive installed second day after install the Microsoft Security Essentials security will not turn on unless I do it manually I have done a whole scan nothing showed up How can I get this problem solved So that MSE opens on start up.
