When I try to open Hotmail a page appears with the following message:- '

This site may be experiencing a problem
The site may not be a member of the Windows Live Network

You can:

You can sign in or sign up at other sites on the Windows Live Network, or try again later at this site.'

I have had this problem for sometime and in the meantime Internet Explorer has been used.

Is there a way that you can configure Firefox for Hotmail to work or will I have the problem until death us do part?

Thank you

Thank you for your suggestions which I have followed to the letter but the problem has not cleared and persists as i outlined in my original query.

Very frustrating and your further suggestions for a fix to the problem would be most welcome.

Sorry for the delay in coming back to you.

Thank you
