update message that looks fake ?
FF 21 for mac. got this update message via a website that looks fake. the URL is not even from firefox. is this adware or spyware? the url is: abm3.info/affy/lp/ff5.php?keyword=ron_98795

Hello macgig, 22.0 is the latest stable release, go form menu bar click the Firefox menu and select About Firefox and update to latest

it looks certainly malicious. how did you get to this website, did it open up automatically?
please go into the addons manager > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
I was on my church website when It opened. makes me wonder if the files on the server for the church have been compromised.

The link nor abm3.info seems to load now so it may have been taken down.
This fake "Outdated Browser Detected" page is poping up in different places in last short while as I reported three of them.
