This issue is new and I have never experienced it before. Upon trying to open anything in a new tab, firefox gets completely stuck loading the site, and when refreshed, does the tab becomes "dead" and nothing can be entered or clicked on, even after minutes. I know it is not my internet connection, as other browsers such as opera and edge work, as well as my ability to download games from steam, and firefox is also up to date as shown by the settings page, but firefox does not allow anything to be opened or viewed other than the settings page, which I used to navigate to the support page. I could not even use "continue with google" as a method of signing in and needed to manually enter everything.

I am having increasingly frequent cases when Mozilla impedes the correct operations of final actions such as 'submit', 'enter' 'place order' etc. On such occasions, applying the cursor has a minimal effect on the relevant Click Button. I have also had trouble with its proper interaction with Roboform. The latter have tried to provide me with solutions but none have worked so far. I am now in the middle of establishing a separate Profile for Roboform. Surely, all this should not be happening. It certainly does not with Microsoft Edge, which I have had to use in such occasions. It feels as if there is a barrier around Mozilla preventing correct interaction with other bodies. Please help.

Every time I restart my laptop, Firefox loses all preferences and configurations whenever I reboot my laptop.

When I open Firefox after restarting my laptop, it acts as it's not connected to the internet, and won't load any pages, it just keeps loading indefinitely.

It's still connected to my Mozilla Account, but Sync is turned off, and all configurations and customization seem to be reset to default.

To fix the "connection" issue, I go to Menu > Help > More troubleshooting information and select the Refresh Firefox... button.

After that, I can go and activate the Sync option again, which will get all my bookmarks, extensions, etc.

Finally, I go to about:config and change the value of browser.uiCustomization.state to set my toolbar customization as I normally use.

I've tried reinstalling Firefox, removing all Mozilla-related files and folders, removed registry entries, but nothing worked...

I really enjoy Firefox, but this is too much of a headache... This is my last attempt to solve this issue, or I'll be forced to switch to another browser... At this point, even Internet Explorer will do

Firefox crashes when trying to log in or add an account on Google services. It will also sometimes lag or not load when searching or trying to access Google Maps etc.

The first part happens whenever a website has a login with Google option, or if I attempt to go to accounts.google.com and do it there. As soon as I start typing in the input box it hangs after a letter or 2. I can reproduce this hang consistently. When it crashes, there is a URL in the bottom left indicating the browser is trying to access something.

I've cleared my cache and cookies and the problem remains. In addition, the Firefox crash reporter is empty and hasn't registered any crashes, even though it has clearly hanged and is visible in Windows Event Viewer (attached). This only happens on Google pages, so any help would be appreciated as obviously I switched from Chrome for better performance but I still need to access their services.

Windows 11 FF 131.0.3 64-bit

This has been an intermittent problem since the update before this one. The screen freezes and nothing works, no mouse, no keypad, nothing. Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't even work. There is no way to shut it down except the power button. It happens at different times, and doesn't seen to have one trigger. I've run troubleshooter, but no change.

It was happening in the previous update, but it seems worse in this one. I asked about this on Reddit a few weeks ago, and someone else said he was having the same problem.

I now have windows 11 but this issue goes back to 10 as well. Every time Fire Fox updates it breaks all my sign ons to every page I have an account with. And Fire Fox updates a lot. I've had this issue for years and have seeked support before to no avail. Every single website sees it as a new browser. I can click on "trust this browser" but it sees it as a different browser after every update.

There seems to always be issues with Firefox and ebay.co.uk again.

Last time this occurred, Firefox simply wouldn't browse products on ebay, failing to display. That seemed to have been picked up some time ago. I just moved over to Chrome until it was fixed.

Now we have problems again. This time, ebay recognises that I'm signed in, but when I do anything like try to add a product to my Watch List, I'm told to re-enter my password (or PassKey) but whatever I choose password or my PassKey, Firefox simply cycled back to the password screen.

I've attached a screenshot to show the screen I'm talking about. See attached.

When I move over to Chrome and follow the same process, everything works perfectly. Definitely a Firefox specific issue. As I have the same addons configured on both browsers, including my Keeper Password Manager.

This is a new issue since the last upgrade as I recall. The only change being the Firefox upgrade.

The current version is the latest for Mac - 131.0.3 (64 bit) on Monterey 12.7.6

Updated to OS Sequoia. When performing search in Address Bar in Firefox before update (previous OS editions), pressing "Control, Return" automatically added the .com to the address and went directly to the site requested. Since updating to OS Sequoia, performing the same task, it will still take the user directly to the .com address, but now shows the following illustrated in the attached file. This does not occur when using Safari or Opera. Did the OS Sequoia update break something?
