Web access of email account
Greetings…I’ve had TB on my computer for years now but would like to find a way to web access my account like (I hate to say this) Gmail. I get emails on my Apple iPhone & iPad devices and PC. I’m able to SAVE the emails on the PC but with my devices I just read and eventually when I get to my PC I save it then. I worry with horror stories of people migrating their accounts and lose everything…any ideas?

If I understand your request, you want to log onto your account via web browser. Please post the part of email to the right of the @ and we may be able to assist you. Also, include the name of your incoming server.
@tampabay.rr.com Mail.Brighthouse.com
I would try this URL first: webmail dot spectrum dot net I say that because I think all road runner accounts are accessible that way.
I appreciate the response and you are correct, I can access my mail from the web via webmail BUT I don’t have access to the folders on my PC. Is there a way to link, connect or copy all my folders on my PC to the cloud? Does TB have a cloud feature similar to GMAIL? I don’t want to give up TB, I’ve had it for ages like I refused to use IE and stayed with Netscape from the beginning. I hope to figure this out or ask if the research team is looking for another option like cloud access. Thanx again
Is yours a POP account? If so, you could create an IMAP account as well. Then you could define the folders on the IMAP account and copy the messages from your local folders to the IMAP folders.
No it’s SMTP, I appreciate the help
SMTP is just the prefix to output server and would be the same for POP and IMAP. What is your incoming server name?
mail.Brighthouse.com = incoming mail.Brighthouse.com = outgoing…smtp The heading mentions it’s an IMAP account
OK. Create new folders in your IMAP account. Then, highlight the messages you want to move (or copy) and right-click and select to move or copy to the selected folder. This may take time, so I don't suggest highlighting hundreds of messages at a time.
Ok, so I’m understanding that on the webmail access of my IMAP account, make a general folder (TB2), then on my PC, click & copy my folders there and paste them to my TB2 folder? OK…so when I get regular emails (which I read off my iPhone or iPad) these will show up normally on my PC and on the webmail site. But when I’m on the PC & I save these emails to various folders on the PC they will not be in the TB2 folder (and the same if I read them and saved them on the TB2 webmail site)? They don’t sync when you save them to folders? Another question, if I make the TB2 folder on the webmail site it won’t show on my PC folder…I don’t think it would because those are local folders. Hmmm…you’re persistent and still hanging in there…thanx
Let's try to keep things simple: if the phone is using IMAP and the PC is using IMAP, then any message saved on any folder on the IMAP PC account can be accessed from the phone. Any file that is stored in local folders is just that: local to the PC. I have no idea what you mean by the TB2 folder. If it's on the IMAP account, then the phone and ipad can access it.
