If Firefox Sync seems to be stuck or takes too long to sync or send URLs or tabs from your iPhone or iPad, it may be because it's waiting for you to grant it permission to sync this information. Otherwise, it will wait until your regular sync schedule.

Make sure to turn on your push notifications so Firefox can notify you if it's waiting for you to give it permission to sync or send:

  1. Open your Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Choose Firefox on the list.
  4. Tap the switch next to Allow notifications to turn them on.

When you sync or send a page from your device, a notification will appear on your phone asking you to grant Firefox permission to sync.

The exact steps may vary according to your iOS version. For more information see the notifications page on the Apple website.
