This article is intended for IT administrators who wish to set up Firefox on the computers within their organization.

Bookmarks, passwords, and user preferences are stored in a Firefox profile. You can set up roaming profiles so that users have access to their browser settings if they switch to another Windows computer in the network.

  1. Locate the profile on the user’s local machine. User profiles are usually stored in a local folder like “...AppData\roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[filename]”
  2. Use your Windows Group Policy to redirect to your user’s data folder on your server or network.
