How can I get rid of start up boxes?
Merry Christmas to all my friends.
Last week, I had a problem with my computer which people helped me solve. Thank you all for that. BUT, in the process of clearing that problem, I somehow messed up my computer. Now, when I turn it on, It turns on with a blue screen with two boxes in it. One has my name under it, and the other has owner under it. When I click on the box with my name, a whole new screen comes up - like on a new computer. When I click on the box with owner on it, my computer starts as it use to.
Is there any way I can get rid of the box with my name on it and just have my computer open like it use to?
I am sorry for being so big a problem.
Thank you all again and have a wonderful holiday.

Thank you very much. That is an excellent answer. Actually, I paid someone to do that to my computer, and now I can do it myself. Yes, I wrote it down n my book of notes.
I don't know how to explain it, but my problem actually happens before this.
Thank you again.

I tried both sites. I am sure the answer was there, if I knew what I was looking for. I just am not computer literate enough to be able to know what my problem is, or how to explain it to someone else.
Thank you for trying to help me.
I think you may need to post a question on one of those sites, assuming they have a forum. One thing you might want help determining is when the account under your name was created, seeing as it hasn't been customized. Is it an old account you just never used, or was it a recently created account, which could be considered a little suspicious?
Either way, if Owner is the main administrator of the computer, Owner can delete the other account so Windows doesn't bother asking you to choose between them. But the steps for that are better addressed by people who modify Windows settings more often than I do.
The second box just appeared in the past week. I am sure I did something trying to solve the first problem.
Thank you for writing me.

So go to those I recommended before as it is a logon screen with ot with out password it is still a log on screen or logon .
