My browser page continually redirects to another page. I know it's a virus of some sort. How do I fix it?

Most times, the redirected page contains something I've searched for in the past, from my home page (msn). Speaking of which, when I perform a search, the results appear but when I click on them, the page redirects to something totally unrelated to what I've searched for.

Hello, This can only be some kind of virus. Try to spend some antivirus on your computer to remove infections. If not resolved, reinstall Firefox. Hope this helps!

I do have Symantec Endpoint Protection installed. It runs every week and finds things that I delete manually or it's set to remove them. Also running Spybot Search and Destroy weekly. It keeps finding a file named: Click.GiftLoad - which I believe is infecting the registry on my pc. What am I doing wrong?
