Chosen solution

There's a new version of that Yahoo Toolbar extension for Firefox. Get it here. https://toolbar.yahoo.com/?.intl=us

If you have any problem installing it from that page (as reported by other users), right-click the Download Now and use Save Link As.... Then drag the XPI file into the browser window to install it.

Yahoo toolbar installs, but it installs a 'default' version and all custom buttons are lost. I'm not sure if this is a firefox or yahoo issue as I have done everything I normally do after an update, but thus far nothing is working. I have to say this is getting pretty tiresome doing this after every single update. I love Firefox but this is wearing thin now :(

See Yahoo for help with their add-on. Not a Mozilla Firefox support issue.

Yes, I have already contacted Yahoo as have many other users, see if you can find a reply from Yahoo because I'm damned if I can. Looks like I will be using another toolbar soon, just a big pain in the ass thats all.

Thanks for your reply.
