How or where can I find the Mozilla Thunderbird icon?

I would like to start Mozilla Thunderbird by clicking on the Thunderbird icon but I cannot find it anywhere; can you help by telling me where I can locate it?

I'm presuming you have already downloaded and installed Thunderbird and it is up and running, but you do not have a shortcut icon on your desktop.

Create a shortcut on your desktop. Start > Programs Right click on 'Mozilla Thunderbird' and select 'Create Shortcut'.
